The original series gave rise to Ben 10: Alien Force, which saw an older and more mature Ben along with completely new aliens to transform into. (Copyright: Cartoon Network) Ben 10 originally debuted in 2005, spawning TV adaptions, a thriving line of merchandise and three sequel series. The humour and action was on point, and I grew fond of the alien characters, each with a unique personality and unforgettable design. With these newfound abilities and with the help of his badass grandfather and equally badass cousin, he is able to fight crime, take on super-villains each week, and all the rest of that superhero jazz, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t have some mischievous fun all the while. The premise was simple yet innovative: a typical ten-year-old boy finds a strange device called the Omnitrix which allows him to transform into 10 (and soon many more) aliens.
